Established in 1931 under Perfetti van Melle, Fruitella comes onto the scene branding itself as the fruit-based treat to have. Perfetti van Melle wants to “enhance our world …in confectionery by creating value for consumers through innovative and gratifying high-quality products.” To this day, the company asserts that these products “contain flavours and colourings from natural plant and fruit extracts”. What’s more, there is also added fruit juice to add another layer of fruitiness. Today, the company’s story continues as they aim to perfect the unmistakably fruity taste.

With constant research into the market, the company continues to develop flavours and variants that speaks to local preferences. Each sweet is individually wrapped to preserve the fresh and fruity flavours.
